Tumblr

I've just started a Tumblr account and will be publishing some pics over there, until I buy a new proper camera.

Go have a look at Elise's musings.

Tumblr is a mix of Facebook, Twitter and blogging. Very easy to blog some photos, texts, share links, etc, but you don't have as much space as on a "traditional" blog where you can decide to write a 500 lines long article (bad idea if you want readers, but that's another story). You still have more than 140 characters, so it's not Twitter, and photos are apparent. It's close to the Facebook status news feed, you just don't have the other part of Facebook (messages, instant messaging, social gaming, etc...).

Aaaaaaaaargh!

My camera is broken. I need to buy a new one to keep this blog working. I'd really want to document T.O. to all of you who are reading from Europe, or my Canadian friends who are amused by my French take on their city.

The iPhone camera takes some getting used-to... I am really not satisfied at what I'm getting....

I'll let you know once I have a solution.

Beginning ending, final:365

20100121T181100.JPG

I am going back to school, taking Project Management courses at Ryerson university.

I am not interested anymore in Project 365. When I started, I had spent 18 months almost solely concentrated on Souleymane. I needed something for myself. But as the year passed, he started full-time daycare, I started working, then REALLY looking for a job. I have so many projects in my life right now, so many things that I want to do right, so many things that I want to learn, and I don't feel inspired by this project anymore.

I still want to take photos, I'd like to illustrate more of Toronto. In due time, I'll find the right name for this blog and keep on posting photos. Once I have a job and a better camera (mine is tired from this year minus 30 days of experimentation and is becoming temperamental).

So this is it.

Thanks for reading, thanks for commenting :)
